About the Editor
Hello, my name is Dillon. I’m the creator of Battlelines Ministry. I’m 27 years old and I enjoy hiking, reading, and hanging out with friends in my spare time. I’m originally from Athol, Massachusetts but now reside in Missoula, Montana.
I chose to start this Blog for a variety of reasons, first and foremost among them being that I felt called by God to do this.

My Spiritual Journey
As a child my parents brought my brother and I to church often, or so I’m told. I don’t remember anything from that early in my childhood; I had a brain injury when I was 7 and even the years immediately following it are hazy. Today, I’m thankful for my brain injury, it played a significant role in shaping who I am.
Afterward, my parents didn’t bring me back to church until I was a teenager. My mom began going regularly and soon I was going with her. I think I’ve always believed, but it took years of this for my faith to develop completely into my own. It wasn’t until I was in my early twenties that I felt like my relationship with Jesus became more personal. Eventually, I felt led to go back to school. For the next couple of years I focused on myself, learning and growing. I soon realized that I had hit a wall in my spiritual growth. There was a critical element missing from my walk with God, I knew what it was but I didn’t really know how to get it. After 3 years at a community college I transferred to UMass to finish my degree. My second day on campus that missing element was added to me, real community. I met the right people and got involved with a campus ministry called Chi Alpha. I soon found that I had something I never had before, a community of christian friends that I did life with, this was a game changer for me.
Since that time most of us have graduated or moved on to other things. I myself have moved across the country to do what I’ve been called to. Right now, I don’t really have a community like that, but I trust that God will give me that again. In obedience, I’m about to step into what God has for me.
My Hopes for Battlelines Ministry
I hope that Battlines Ministry will become a community where we can support, encourage, and inspire one another. I don’t know what it looks like yet, but I also believe that Battlelines Ministry will serve as the foundation for more great things God has in store for me and my readers.
Mission
The mission of Battlelines Ministry is to challenge, encourage, strengthen, and arm my brothers and sisters in Christ against the Enemy.
Vision
My vision for Battlelines Ministry is for it to become the focal point of a community of support & encouragement, and eventually to become a virtual hub filled with resources to help us in our fight against the Enemy.
